Job Description

• Develop firmware for debuggers and programmers for Microchip microcontroller. Develop and perform unit tests for new
• device support. Work with design and application teams to understand the specifications and requirements for the tool support.

Work with global teams

1. Develop firmware for new hardware tools
2. Understand device programming specifications
3. Add new part support and features into existing tools
4. Unit test new part support
5. Update the automated test scripts for new devices
6. Support internal and external customers

Requirements/Qualifications

1. The candidate should have a BE or equivalent degree in Electronics or allied branches
2. 2 to 6 years of experience in firmware development
3. Knowledge of micro controllers PIC/dsPIC/ARM/AVR architecture
4. Should have good communication skills
5. Good knowledge of the ‘C’ and assembly programming languages
6. Hardware design knowledge and understanding of schematics will have advantage
7. Knowledge of any scripting language will be plus
