RFeye Array 300 is an intermediate-sized spectrum monitoring and direction-finding system for vehicle-mounted deployment or fixed installations.

It is designed to maintain accuracy, even in extreme environmental conditions and requires fewer scheduled recalibrations than most competing products.

RFeye Array 300 is a high-performance, twin-channel system for simultaneous wideband radio monitoring and direction finding by CRFS. It is an intermediate-sized spectrum monitoring and direction-finding system for vehicle-mounted deployment or fixed installations. Spectrum management is essential to get the most out of the finite radio spectrum, which is not possible without monitoring of spectrum. The RFeye Array can be used for accurate geolocation of target signals using the combined angle of arrival (AOA), time difference of arrival (TDOA ) and power of arrival (POA )techniques. The module is suitable for use in both civil and defence applications and is suitable for applications such as spectrum sweeps, IQ captures, and spectrum occupancy measurements.

According to the company, the RFeye Array 300 module is available in three different receiver configurations either based on the class-leading RFeye Node 100-8 with 100 MHz IBW and 8 GHz upper frequency, the Node 100-18 with 100 MHz IBW and 18 GHz upper frequency or the Node 100-40 with 100 MHz IBW and 40 GHz upper frequency. The company claims that the Array 300 uses a unique multi-layer approach that is more sophisticated and versatile than traditional direction finding. High-performance spiral directional antenna modules are optimized for different frequency bands and arranged in multiple orientations. The Array is sensitive to most incoming signal polarizations including all linear polarizations, allowing reliable detection of signals including those invisible to most DF systems.

According to the company, each RFeye Array is individually calibrated in a real-world environment to test its potential accuracy in the presence of other signals, as found in any deployed environment. Furthermore, each array carries a unique calibration file which is constant over time, thus eliminating the need for repeated, scheduled recalibration. The RFeye Array 300 is suitable for applications such as spectrum sweeps, IQ captures, spectrum occupancy measurements, signal classification, alerting on mask breaks and triggering alarms, geolocating signal sources, etc.
